Brett, N2O, 928's and Schadenfreude

Chaps,

Some of you may remember an episode of quite blatent forum vandalism on here about 9 months (or so) ago.

The perpetrator still posts on Pistonheads, and owns an interestingly modified 928. He is currently running a thread on an unrelated topic on PH, here:

http://pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=48&t=657194&mid=29269&nmt=Dogcam%20Bullet%20cam%20and%20LCD%20Mirror%20fitted

I'm not suggesting that we should indulge in mass schadenfreude, but it makes interesting reading.

I've missed the banter on PH, as he hasn't posted anything silly for some time. Can't wait to see proof of the figures.....[;)]

Jaysus is this superstar for real...? Does he really exist or does he just do this sort of stuff so that people will flame the poor critter....[:D]

Thanks Oli,
That's more like the old vintage PH: Memories of the Dokic soap opera anyone?

Equally amusing is the PH subtext that old-cars-have-no-right-to-be-quick. I seem to remember a lynch mob was recently disbanded only at the very last minute, much to the relief of whoever it was who suggested that a 968 was going round a circuit quite quickly. Said individual should have had the sense to reallise that the GT3RSs there, even when parked up, were obviously MUCH quicker [:D]

He (and his "car") were the star attraction at last year's Frontrunner event. Parked up, in the middle of Cornbury House, holding forth to anyone who would listen all about his "Runs". Video, photos, power plots, the works.

It was the first contact I had had with PCGB in person (and the first time Mrs zcacogp had been to any sort of meeting of car enthsiasts) and I was a little embarassed, to be honest. I'd met Brett previously and formed my opinion of him, and consequently gave him a wide berth.

I would respecfully request that this thread is buried to avoid yet another feeding frenzy on this old worn out subject.[:(]

That dash brought a smile to my face :)

Each to their own, but the guy seems to love getting flamed.

That is a wonderful thread in so many ways...[:D]

This thread is so much better, an absolute PH classic;

I'm sure I've seen that picture somewhere else recently ...
