i say £25o max

If you can buy a genuine tailgate with bridge spoiler for £250, I'd buy it off you for £300. An instant profit. [&:]

The one on e-bay for £325 doesn't look overpriced to me, assuming it's local as shipping the great big glass hatch isn't cheap. Have you tried the usual breakers, you might get lucky. When you look at the prices of the pretty ropey aftermarket versions £325 doesn't seem a bad deal really.

£325 sounds pretty good to me if it's in decent condition and original

When (if) you get it, check the condition of the side trims - if they are loose, secure them with sikaflex or similar. They are held on with small screws - when these give up, the side trim can snap, and each one costs £150+ to replace!

A tailgate hatch with GENUINE Porsche bridge spoiler removed from a 1991 944 turbo.

In good condition although some of the small fixing nuts and bolts are missing from the side and rear trims so these will need replaceing .... (an easy diy job).

I read it that this is a standard tailgate with a GENUINE bridge spoiler fitted to it!!!

So if correct then it's not worth the asking price IMHO

I agree with you andy. If it was all origional then £325 would be good but a put together item is not worth as much. Especially if it is going to mneed a bit of work to get it up to scratch. If it was in as new condition then ok but in this state no way .

1991 Turbos had bridge-type spoilers as original equipment.

Presuming that its all original, which seems likely (and certainly possible), then I dont think thatthe price is out of the way.

The last time i looked at getting a bridge spoilered hatch, from a breaker , they were £500 .........So £350 sounds reasonable so long as its intackt...
