with all my other cars, i use continentals or bridgestone tyres... everyone rates the conti sportcontact2 or michelin ps2 on porsches... what about the bridgestone s02 or s02a... anyone with any experience of them... heard they are quieter than the other 2 but what about mileage and more importantly wet grip and braking?..

I have found the Bridgestones to be excellent on my 996TT - am on the second set. Excellent wear & grip. They were original equipment on the car. I have not had great experience with the Michelins on Boxsters - high wear rate. Also rate Pirellis highly. Good luck. Keith

Whats up with pirelli p zeros....just bought 4 through Kwick Fit who have an offer on at the moment....buy 3 get one free. 4 new tyres £560....better than any online price unless anyone knows differently.
Bit concerned that pirelli werent mentioned...have i missed something?????

Autocar reckoned the Pirelli Rossos (N3 I think) were the best tyres on their long-term 996.
