BRIDGESTONE SO2 N3's ADVICE WANTED

Guest

New member
Just fitted a new set of the above, originally had S01's, anyone else running Bridgestone SO2's...........if so what do I look out for on track and road etc....?

Hi Des

I'm running S02's on the CS. Noisy (no problem) soft, high wear rate, grippy under pretty much all circumstances. I tend to think they are a little bit "not so good" until you put 1k miles on them.. I've had them on many cars including my quite lairy Type R Accord...

Steve

Load 'em up!!

36psi cold for road, try 32 psi hot for track.

These are my road and 'wets' for Cuppie -great tyre!!

Melv

Agree a lot nosier than my SO1's who cares in an RS! Only done 50 miles so far............Nurburgring next week how many miles between London and N'ring?

Des,
Where did you manage to find these ? As they are no longer made (replaced by the not so brilliant S03), they are becoming tricky to find - esp. the 'N' rated ones

Thanks,

Jamie

Thanks Melv - rough idea of price for 205/55 X 16 and 225/50 X 16 ? Although I imagine you are running 17s ?

Jamie

Ring up Elite and ask them, for goodness sake!!

Cheeky Melv [;)] He only asked ! !

Jamie........Ignore Melv, he normally buys lunch for our old "handmedowntyres" we normally throw away before the next MOT. He doesnt really know how much tyres cost these days as he prefers semi slicks [8D]

PS Mel, im still running Cuppie specials 205/50 255/40 17" Contis ?????????

Nah, running the real thing on track these days!!

Mel
PS I said ring Elite, not Elliott!!

They DO still make SO2's...............Elite have them in stock but ring before you go and allow a good three hours including wheel allingment.........ask for Chris to fit them...............noticed a few GT3's running the SO2's
