Bringing the 911 Styling into the 20th Century

Hi Guys and Gals

I have had a 911 habit since 1991 always buying new, so that blows my judgement!

Recently I have spent a day driving a Ferrari 458 and Aston Vantage V12. From a style point of view they were dramatic ( Ferrari ) and classy ( Aston ), but both bang up to date and in the 458's case substantially different from the previous iteration. Very brave of the management.

The 911 is iconic in shape but surely needs bringing into the 20th Century - can it be brought into the 21st Century without offending diehards as they would not even recognise it .Would it simply be too Dan Dare?

Anyway the new GT3 iteration with vivid body decoration and wheel colours just highlight the last century looks of the standard model!

What is the view out there in Galaxy 911 ?

I like the way they aren't as in-your-face as AM and F - and you can park them without creating a fuss. Maybe another model (in the 458/Gallardo/MP4 catagory) will fill the gap above the 911 between it and the 918.
