Broken door lever-need advise

The alluminium lever on the outside door handle snapped off today after being a pig for days. Is there anything difficult in replacing it. I'm asking incase I some how might **** up the imoboliser and central locking. I had to disconect the central locking on my old mans car to fix something and can't get that to work again.

Don't want an expensive mistake on my hands.
