Broken Stud - Wheelarch Liner

For some strange reason, one of the studs in my O/S rear wheel arch decided to detach itself when I undid the plastic nut.

After some research I have finally found a solution which utilises a stud with a flat base which can be bonded to a surface without having to drill holes etc.
Finally got around to fixing this today.

Here is the offending stud (offside rear wheel arch).

Here is the stud that will be bonded on to effect the repair.

The studs came with some 2 pack super strong glue.

A quick clean up with a rotary file to get back to the metal so we get a good bond.

Here it is bonded in place.

Once the epoxy has set a quick squirt of wax to protect the area.

A useful kit, where did you purchase it? Dealer or direct from manufacturer? Someone will need it again.
