Bromley Pageant 2007

Hello, just joined the club, I live in Bickley and wondered if the Kent region will have any involvement in the Bromley Pageant in 2007?

This is Sunday 24th June, I organised a display last year with the 964RS Register, 993RS and GT3 great success. Kent abandoned the idea several years ago you need to bend Phil and Pearl's ears......however think this year should be a general Club Display....need to get forms pdq...wot you drive elk elk...

Kent are due to go to the Bromley Pagent.

Give Phil & Pearl a ring or come along to the next meeting at The Moat on 11th April

Do Keith & Pearl have access to this website, it appears that the London region and the Kent region are both organising displays for the Bromley Pageant, perhaps the sensible solution is for a combined representation? Personally i would love to hook up for the Kent monthly meet, but work commitments currently make it impossible.

If Kent are doing a display as well need to move fast......still space on London Display all Regions invited.....

Why don't we just have one big combined display?

Hi Phil, Shearl -
Kent are more than welcome to join up with London as Mel is also bringing his motorhome to use as a "base camp" (thanks Mel!). Daryl and Bev (R24) also joined up with us last year and we shared the same plot to good effect.
This was half the stand last year:

Great Idea grouping all the Regions but need to act NOW as we only got as Region 20 a late space by combining 5 smaller 3 car pitches....so yes let's do it, maybe a reply here from Kent.....

I spoke to Pearl, the Kent region will be represented at Bromley Pageant, so it looks like PCGB will have 2 displays! It should result in a comprehensive representation of the marque i guess.....and the London region will have the motorhome

Ok, no probs. Feel free to swing by and say hi, pull up a chair on the day and have a cuppa if you want.

We combined last year wyth R24, glad to see Kent returning, would make sense to combine the Club Displays I don't know if R24 are coming this year, away at the moment, will call Phil and Pearl on my return....

Des as you well know, Kent region had been going to Bromley Pageant for many years. In fact year after year (and every year that I was RO) It was felt that the region could do with a break from it for a year or so, as the majority of those who attended did so every year and it was getting repetative! Hardly abandonment in my book and it gave other regions a chance to attend who have not been before. Incidently it would never have been a problem for a Kent member to have volunteered to man a region stand during "the stand down" had someone wished to do so I am sure. And now were back from outer space etc etc

....would probably help if events were posted here by all RO and RS to save any confusion and help new members and old what is going....PP has a two month lead in...please can we move with the times....[;)]

It's raining in Spain and cold so you have to put with me until the bar opens..adios[:)]
