Brompton bike / Boxster

Hello all,

does anyone know if a folded Brompton bike will fit in the front boot of a Boxster 981?

The dimensions on the Brompton site indicate that it won't, but I wondered if it could be squeezed in upside down or on the slant!

Thanks,

Jeff

it does fit in a 987.2 but it’s very tight. dont know how the 981 compares

stanard seatpost is ok, extended a real struggle, telescopic if you drop it all the way down ( they sit about an inch higher if you drop the post to the floor, lift the Brompton slightly for the extra )

I found normal way up tipped 30 degrees right (saddle to the nearside ) and tipped back 15 degrees and with cardboard protecting the plastics works for me

this is one with a standard seat post kind of showing the angle.

When I purchased my latest golf trolley, which is collapsible, I went to the retailer in my car and physically put the trolley in the front boot of our Boxster to make sure it fitted.
Is it feasible for you to do similar?

Thanks both,

I am encouraged by the photo and now plan to go to my nearest Evans Cycles in the next few days, to check on the fit in my car.

All the best

Jeff
