Buffeting Sun Roof

Does anyone else have trouble with unbearable buffeting when their sunroof is open? It doesn't matter if it's just to the first stop or fully open I cant seem to go much over 20 miles per hour without the wind buffeting getting so bad I have to slow down or close it.

Any ideas as to a remedy? This is on my 997.2, I never had this problem on my Gen 1.

Any help much appreciated - before it gets too sunny!

Andy

When you open the sunroof is there an little flap that pops up at the front of the roof? Has it stuck down? On my Cayenne it has this flap and it helps stop the buffering that you mention.

In the 997 spares manual it is referred to as the "Air Deflector" page 341/2 if you have that manual.

My Porsche 997.1 used to do it at certain speeds I found any easy solution by dropping a window very slightly and completely cures it.

I think they all do it at certain speeds, I test drove a 991.1 with a sunroof and it did once you got to higher speeds, Targas apparently do it, but convertibles don't :)
