Bulb Kit...???

Any body know if the Halfords spare Bulb Kit for the 944 model will fit the 1990-1991 model year.......as this is dashed out in their booklet in store...??

Or if any one knows where i could get one from...???

I would expect that the only difference could be the fog lights / driving lights as S2/Turbo fronts are different to the others (not necessarily the bulbs mind) and only they were available after '89. I don't know of any changes and I've had 944's ranging from '86 to '92 (but all Turbos or S2's).

Pop-up bulbs are H4 and everything else is pretty standard stuff - remember the tail light and stop light are separate and the tail is a smaller bulb - the stop light is just a 21W indicator bulb as are the fogs, reversing lights and, erm, indicators.

Hopefully some of that made sense!

Hi Ricky

Before setting off to Le Mans last year, I went to Halfords and they do not do a pre-prepared bulb kit!! What I did was get the bulbs I needed and with the exception of the headlamp, put the others into a small plastic box with some foam I bought off the Leicester market, having cut the correct shaped holes with some scissors.

It worked for me.

Hope this helps.

Regards

Phil

I have a '90 car and went with the kit - not had any problems so far most seem to be covered - From memory I don't think there is a fog / driving light bulb in there though (the one with the wire) as it is not an essential,
