Bumper Question.

65 mat

As well all know, the RS has a different centre part to the rear bumper compaired to the early Cup Cars (and regular Carerra's). Is this a separate part or is it part of a totally different bumper?

Hi Matt,

It is available as a separate part. I believe that Ninemeister sell them for circa £250. As far as I am aware this is the only option, however I would interested to know as I want to fit one in the next few months.

Hi Matt,

Looks like this company manufacture a copy rear centre section. Not sure of the quality and it looks like there is no hole for the towing eye.

Is anyone aware of these copies?

There's no cutout for the number plate lights either. Genuine ones do come up on ebay every now and again but they still make good money. I was lucky to source a used one from a RL member.

Its ground to a halt :) Managed to acquire a widebody C4 but I don't want to devalue it now that I've bought it. I don't know whether it's a blessing or a curse but I seem to be acquiring the necessary bits for it at reasonable money i.e. NB trailing arms, C2 ABS ECU (needed to convert to RWD) etc etc. At the moment the plan is to get the suspension sorted (KW's + Bushes waiting to be fitted) and get some track days out of it. Will probably decide what to do at the end of the year. I still look at PH classifieds to see if anything interesting comes up - there's a widebody RS on mobile.de at the moment but it's slightly out of my budget (I think it's around 60K Euro). Who knows, may end up getting a NB instead :)
