As you have seen in the P Post we as a region have been invited to join R24 & others for a day out at Burghley House.
I have registered interested in our region attending following a group chat at the BBQ. I have e mailed some expressing interest.
Cost is four pounds entry & a further charge of five pounds for two people to look around the house if you wish.
Awaiting for info as to booking through R24 or direct to the house site.
At the moment we have four cars can we make it more?

Hi Pam and Richard, Do you have an update for the Burghley House multi region get together. As R4 are we planning to meet up and arrive as a group as the other regions are discussing. Regards Paul

Pleased to hear you will be joining us - suggested convoy or individual arrival time 1045-1100 for a superb photo line up (follow instructions on arrival to dedicated Porsche Parking area) before enjoying lunch and optional tour. (Note I have not booked lunch since pre payment was required) However, I do hop we can all get together around the table[8D] Double ‘ D’ 2 B - Burghley House Event September 26th A further update to my previous in last month’s PP. I now have received more details from Burghley House. Join us on the ‘Double D 2 B’ – ‘Drive and Dine to Burghley’ event. Start from either Bedford or Cambridge in a convoy (or you Regional Starting point) and a scenic drive will see the convoys converge on Burghley Hose where we have dedicated Porsche parking around the large oval at the house. This is charged at £4.00 per car. However, in return for the parking charge we have negotiated a BOGOF tour of the house and Gardens. Thus making the overall cost for the day £9.00 less than for those who just turn up at the gate! You have a choice of dining between the Orangery Restaurant and the Garden Café. Both these self-service facilities offer a selection of drinks and sweet and savory snacks. Hot and cold lunches are available from the Orangery Restaurant. The Garden Café serves a range of sandwiches, salads and light snacks. Further details are available see http://www.burghley.co.uk/ or e mail me with questions at R24@porscheclubgb.com John Dunn RO and Committee Region 24

Details - John Dunn RO from Region 24 has put the final instructions on the Region 4 site regarding the Burghley House trip. I shall be sending out an E mail to all members advising a start location if a group wish to travel down together. For the ones in the North of the county can I suggest the Bentley Hotel car park from 9.00 & leave at 9.30 its a 50 minute drive down the A46 & then on the A1. Those that live south of the county can you arrange a meeting place if you wish to convoy down or up! Thank you John, look forward to a good turn out. Richard RO Region 4

Hi Richard, I'll do the maths and wait for you to pass by the Colsterworth area on the A1 and join the rear of the convoy heading down to Stamford, any other South Lincs peeps who would like to do the same please let me know on this link or PM me and we assemble at the same A1 location. Cheers Paul

Paul If you give me your mobile I will tex when we leave Bentley. Or send me a e mail direct. Have you changed your car?
