Convoy departure details to be announced nearer the date but we intend to arrive at 1045-1100 for a superb photo line up (follow instructions on arrival to dedicated Porsche Parking area) before enjoying lunch and optional tour. (Note I have not booked lunch since pre payment was required) However, I do hope we can all get together around the table

Double "˜ D' 2 B - Burghley House Event September 26th

A further update to my previous in last month's PP. I now have received more details from Burghley House. Join us on the "˜Double D 2 B' "" "˜Drive and Dine to Burghley' event. Start from either Bedford or Cambridge in a convoy (or you Regional Starting point) and a scenic drive will see the convoys converge on Burghley Hose where we have dedicated Porsche parking around the large oval at the house. This is charged at £4.00 per car. However, in return for the parking charge we have negotiated a BOGOF tour of the house and Gardens. Thus making the overall cost for the day £9.00 less than for those who just turn up at the gate! You have a choice of dining between the Orangery Restaurant and the Garden Café. Both these self-service facilities offer a selection of drinks and sweet and savory snacks. Hot and cold lunches are available from the Orangery Restaurant. The Garden Café serves a range of sandwiches, salads and light snacks. Further details are available see http://www.burghley.co.uk/ or e mail me with questions at R24@porscheclubgb.com
