Bush part numbers

Like others I have a list of jobs I want to do over winter and one of them is to freshen up the handling. I've read on here a few times that I should use original rubber bushes rather than polybushes on the front arms but I can't find part numbers anywhere. Can somebody please post the part numbers for the front wishbone bushes both front and rear?

Many thanks, David.

Not sure there is a part number for the front bushes of the wishbones, unless the car is severely used on track these hardly ever come loose.
The part number for the rear bushes (often refered to as "castor mounts") is 951.341.023.01

I have never heard of using poly bushes on wishbones but I would advise against it unless you have a dedicated track car.

David,

For steel arms (up to 1985 early dash) the front bush (1 per arm) part numbers are:

171 487 121 D

The later ('85.5 - on) front bonded bushes for the aluminium arms are:

951 341 041 01 - Standard suspension

951 341 041 31 - M030 option (higher shore hardness rating for rubber?)

You need 2 per wishbone for these. When installing, it helped me to make small shims to fit between the inner and outer cups to prevent eccesive distortion of the rubber.
