Seen a car that I like the look of and was just wondering if anyone who's bought a car from H&S could tell me how they got on with purchase
i.e. Did you have car inspected? etc
I know that GT Classics are their UK partners so will be contacting Paul MacClean(told you I'd want another one [:)]) too.
thanks.

Confused of Hemel or wot ? You only just sold yours in May or thereabouts. I think that price wise there is no difference between Paul & Tomas for the same stock. Paul also has his own independant stock and if you call him today he may just have a Black RS Clubsport with your name on it !!!! [came in today]

i have 3 cars from H&S,bought over the last 5 years Tom will be at Brands on Fridays Track day ....................no probs watsoever and very helpful and most important knowledgeable Guy, will help getting the car out of Germany etc and make it possible all in a day...........................as long as u accept LHD rs 's are a good buy Tom has the best data base of 993 and 964 in Europe
NO i am not connected just a satisfied customer

Allan, not confused, just over run by costs on a development project and with available timescale was quickest way to raise the necessary.
Did say to Paul when he picked the car up that would be back for another when things changed,so here I am [:)]
P.S.Did see your RS for sale but only starting to look now.

Echo what Vic said - Tom very helpful guy, sorted hotel arrangements, picked us up in the morning etc..

I got Tom to get the car tested by a German OPC - useful as they have a check sheet with pictures on that they tick to show its checked and OK (my German is non-existant) - on mine meant new discs fitted the day before I went to pick the car up (at no cost to me). car was better than decribed to me, and Tom very honest about it.

Might be worth paying a deposit, having the majority of the rest of agreed €€ as bankers draft and then hold a couple of €€ in reserve in cash to haggle on the day.

Any chance we could get married ? Totally agree same experience ...............anymore and people may think i am biased! The proof was 1 of them whizzing round Brands in the rain yesterday ,so they even last

Bought mine from Tom too. Echo the others comments very satisfied customer. At the mo you should get more for your money over here though.

I bought two 964RSs from Tom and can only confirm the positive remarks that
others have made.

The last car that I bought from him developed several problems in the 6 months
following the purchase. In these instances, Tom reacted promptly, with total
commitment and professionalism to get these cars repaired for me on time (e.g.
to do track events or catch a ferry back to the UK).

I would not consider buying a lhd 964RS elsewhere, such is his knowledge of the
market and the number of really bad cars around...

My mate has just come back from EuroDisney (lucky lad...) and picked me up a mag called RS Magazine which I havent seen before. In french of course (wish I had listened at school now) but the classifieds have at least 3 cup cars plus what must be another 10 RSs for sale. The sellers seem to be all across europe but might be another source if anyone is looking.

Ask Eoin Sloane. They did a feature on his car (2 BRX) last year.

Flat 6 (also French) is slightly better.

Tks, will ask The Commander.....................see both Mags in Eu Airports ,as anything else specialised ,occasionally some first class articles if u ave the patience to translate

It is at Dick Lovett and has done only 14k miles. The spoiler wouldn't be my first choice but looks like a nice car. Snip, err not exactly.

RHD 14K 964RS @£46k from an OPC is a collector car at this stage of the game my only reservation is that RHD may not be the best investment (des ducks under desk) as LHD demand and originality is far greater with Europe Asia and USA, thus in time I would predict parity in pricing. However RHD very rare this car would be only £40K a year ago a good buy really if it's absolutely mint.....£40K is about right for a LHD original unmolested car with no Badger damage so you pays your money, would want original pop up spoiler.....[;)]

"£40K is about right for a LHD original unmolested car"

You're having a laugh aren't you, hope that was a typo and you meant to write RHD, otherwise I must have done ok buying my car for £$%k.

Now had chance to have a flick through the classifieds in that RS Magazine and surprise, surprise...

Prices range from £29500 for 70k Km to £38000 for 29k Km (all dealers)

Nice stable market then.

They dont have a website but can be contacted on rsmagazine@wanadoo.fr

Desmond dear fellow

You forgot to add that this £40k price tag would only be realised if it was finished in the ultra rare "Porsche racing WHITE"....
