Buying LHD 911 abroad.............

A friend of mine who lives in Lisbon has just been bitten by the 911 bug after a couple of weeks running around in my 87 Carrera Supersport, much more usable than his 92 Alfa Spider he has at home.

So, he wants to buy a LHD model, not sure which kind, or whether it is going to be a 911 or 964 as yet. He has a budget of upto £20k.

I always assumed that Germany would be the best place to buy one, since it is rumoured that they spent more to maintain them than in most countries.

However, if anyone can dispell this myth, or point me in the direction of any specialist dealers on the Continent that they know, I would be much obliged.

Awaiting your responses!

Thanks

Germany certainly has the largest market, but LHD cars in the UK are cheaper than in Europe, so it could be worthwhile looking more locally.

911sse,
For LHD in the UK, try Formula Fuchs or Adrian Crawford. Both I believe specialise in LHD vehicles.

Regards,
