Buying Question

Hello All,

I sold my Boxster last year but now feel the urge to "come back"

I have a quick question - is it worth waiting untill the winter before purchassing rather than paying an extra premium for summer "top down" motoring?

I seem to remember that when I bought my first Boxster in July 05 prices dropped slightly after the summer and I am wondering whether its worth while holding out untill the weather gets nasty for a bargain?

Sept/October is a better time to buy privately as sellers have had their summer fun, and buyers become fewer so prices fall accordingly.

From a dealer or OPC, January is always a good month - winter blues, no convertible buyers and not even many tyre kickers after the Christmas spends !!

Convertibles are a lot more year round than years ago, so the seasonal pricing is less pronounced. A covering of snow is always good for buying power!

If you are buying from a dealer don't forget to finalise your purchase towards the very end of the month when there is a good chance your purchase will make or break any incentive targets yet to be met [;)]

ok thanks Guys. I think this time I will probably buy privately so will hold out until September/October.
