Buzzing when ignition turned off

I've noticed a buzzing noise from somewhere vaguely behind the dash after I switch off the engine and even after I pull the key out of ignition. Seems to be coming from behind the oil or fuel gauge. Any idea what this could be? Cheers

I think you're probably right. When I went back to the car this morning it wasn't happening so it had obviously switched itself off as you have suggested. It definitely was on for more than 2 minutes though, but it sounds as though I should be grateful it's working at all!

boys, its one of the ventilation servo motors shuting the dash vent flaps as the ignition is turned off
