Well, I finally managed to sell my old friend. I guess it was the best price I could have expected in the current market and I am satisfied she is going to a good home. I'm sure Steve will look after her and I gave him the web address of the forum so he may be on later to ask you guys for advice.

I have to admit my eye was damp as I saw him drive off in her, nearly 12 years together!

Didn't sleep very well last night either, worrying in case he might have any problems, but the truth is if I hadn't sold her last night, I have driven her to work today, tomorrow and the next day without a worry for her reliability.

I'm sure I'll drop in here from time to time to see whats going on, but now I can concentrate all my efforts on the 964.

Thanks for all the help over the years!!

I guess I wont be coming saturday after all. lol

hope you got a good price.

James :)

Sorry James, I hadn't heard from you and I couldn't take the chance that it wouldn't work out.

I got the right price in the current market, but I guess it would have been £1,000 to £1,500 more last year.

Glad you managed to move it. I was in exactly the same situation and consider myself quite lucky it went at all. As you say a good 1K less than ideal but then again I bought too so its swings and roundabouts.
