Well, it was farewell to the trusty 987S yesterday, but hello to the new practical everyday family car:

Big thumbs up from the kids - I now no longer have to choose who comes and who stays at home [:D]

Welcome to the 997 area Gavin.... you could have had the cabriolet version and keep the top down [:)]
Nice family run around for sure- and much better than the black SUV crowd [:D]

@ okellyt - thanks! Standard C4S spec plus hard-backed crested heated sports seats, 3 spoke sports steering wheel, 19" carrera S alloys, PCM + phone, sunroof, sports chrono (with PSE), cruise control, park assist, auto-dim mirrors, rain sensitive wipers, crested wheel centres"¦ pretty much everything except BOSE and CD changer, which doesn't worry me too much - the PSE sounds pretty good anyway [;)]

@ Mark - one of those black SUVs is mine, so I managed to get access to the neighbourhood [:)]

@ garyw - yep, thought about a cab, but really always wanted a coupe and I'm guessing it has a little more room in the back for my young 'uns (who are now porschefiles through and through - get them while they're young!).

My better-half seems to like it even more than the Boxster, so I'm going to have to hide the keys!

All the very best,

Gavin
