Bye Bye

New member
Sadly I am parting with my 911 !!!
After a 15 months Hell with my first 911 (2000 3.4 996 C4) From 02/2013 to 04/2014 then More problems with my next 911 (2004 3.6 996 C4) From 04/2014 to 09/2014) !!!
I have decided that Porsche's are not for me ! Even though they dandle ace and go like stink, the reliability issue is not acceptable, so I say Bye Bye to them and wish all owners all the best and I hope your experience with Porsche is a lot better than mine has been.
Regards
Wayne (Flymo) [:(]
P,S.
Please see my other post as I am selling a Artic Silver GT3 rear boot spoiler and a Brand New set of tyres !

Sorry to see you go Wayne and disturbed to hear of your reliability issues. Sounds like you bought a bit of a pup, or two. I have had 2 911s covering 10+ years and the only brake down I have experienced was a leaking fuel tank and a flat battery. Of course Porsches cost a bit to keep and run but by supercar standards, they are very cheap and reliable. Please pass on the word about the club and if you or anyone else is considering buying a Porsche, get some good advice first from one of our 150 members. Regards and good wishes

Thanks for the reply Gavin, maybe if I do ever get another Porsche again it will be a 997 or an air cooled but never a 996 ! All the best
