Hi all does anyone have a tread on adjusting the driverside window ive got a bit of wind noise (very irritating) dnt know if its even possible? could be a seal but the cars 07/08 with only 26k but you never know??

thanks??

I get wind noise (from the car [;)]) which appears to be the trailing edge of the window lifting free from the seal. I assume this is a common issue as you can see the glass being "sucked" away frim the seal as you increase in speed. I would be interested to know if there is a fix for this or just a quirk of the design.

Hi andy pasenger side is fine and on the 996 you can adjust it, in and out, up and down but am waiting to fine out if it can be done on the 997?? as soon as i find out i will post so you know!! cheers jason

Hi Jason Interesting that you can adjust it - you learn something every day! Let me know how you get on.

Well all sorted took the guys at D&G motors (porsche specilists) under an hour no noise now!!! If anyone want garys number just give me a shout! he took door panel off adjusted window checked the car with a road test and put it all back no probs (so glad i didnt try tackle it as didnt have any idear how much wires etc is in there!!!!) job well done!

I am having the same issue now on the drivers side after a local garage replaced the side window that they scratched. Don't really want to go back to these guys so was wondering if I could do it myself.

Were there any online instructions anyone found as I presume, once you have carefully removed the panel, the adjustments 'could' be easy.

Thanks in advance,

Rob
