C2SRear Strut from Cross member to body

Hi. 2011 997-2 C2S. 32K miles.
Has anyone experienced corrosion on the 2 struts which run diagonally from the crossmember under the transmission to the body just in front of the rear wheels? I have some surface rust where they get chipped from road debris. Planning to remove, repaint or replace. Part number is 997 331 081 20 if that helps identify.

I believe it's quite a common problem because, as you say, the rods are very close to the road and therefore vulnerable to gravel rash and other road debris. If you can refurbish them all well and good. I recall somebody on this forum had to replace them and bought replacements from Ebay at a much reduced price than from a Porsche Centre.
Regards,

Clive

Thanks for the info Clive. It would appear to be fairly straightforward to remove/replace, or am I missing some hidden obstacles?
Any tips welcome. Many thanks
