C4 buying tips

Guest

New member
After visiting the Air-cooled day on Sunday my desires have become to much and I must have a 911.

After reading various literatures and talking to numerous people I feel that I would like a C4 though I know very little about what I should and shouldn' t be looking for when viewing them.

Can anybody who owns (or has owned) a C4 give me any tips on what I should be specifically asking and looking for when buying a C4.

Many thanks.

If anybody from the 944 list reads this - Sorry.

Have a look at the FAQ' s under the 964 section of www.titanic.co.uk.

Also, much of what Laurence has said in his buying report on the 964RS section of the Club website is relevant.

Get it checked thoroughly by an independant specialist. Insist that a full four wheel alignment is carried out as part of the deal.

Sorry, SORRY!!!! Sorry don' t enter into it mate - you' ve already been grassed up on titanic.

I' m going to mobilise the Turbot Terrorists to come round and " have a word in your ear."

There is little worse than a 944 owner shunned.

[:D] I love my 944, it' s just that I have ALWAYS wanted a 911.

I know that if I don' t get a 911 before we have kids, then I will probably not get one for another sixteen years or more and I feel I have waited too long already.

Please understand and don' t send the Turbot Terrorists.

Andrew,

Try http://www.porsche964.co.uk and check the running reports

another 944 owner thinking along the same lines[;)]

ORIGINAL: you' ve already been grassed up on titanic.

Just what are you doing in here anyway John? [:D]

Get back into my 944 forum so I can moderate you swiftly (power mad - moi?)

Andrew, don' t forget the email list at www.titanic.co.uk/964 Ken and Melv will be very helpful but ignore absolutely anything that Sideways Sid and Marlin say. []

Andrew,

Have a look on John Miles site as well www.porsche964.co.uk it was the site I started with for looking at buying a 964. It has plenty of information on the 964 marque and reports from owners as well. Dont buy the first one you see either. It took me 7 months to find my perfect one.
Just a note DONT ask which is the better between a C2 or a C4 because it will open a right can of worms [:D]
