Good afternoon all,

I am looking at purchasing a 996.1 C4 from a place in Hampshire, and am wondering if it is a "known" car on here..? Originally from SW London, the rego is Y139 FCC; link below..

Hi Matthew
There is nothing with regards to that reg on the 996 register.
Good luck & enjoy

A good indicator as to how well - or not - the car has been treated is to tap the reg into the DVLA MOT History checker..

Thanks :) Yes I am all over the MOT History Checker.. Shame that some illegal spacing in the lettering caused it to fail its most recent MOT..

There are some advisories too which I am talking thru with the Seller..

Thanks Andy, ah well, just thought I'd see if it had made it to this Forum.. :)

Is there a way to check the Porsche club register based on the VIN rather than the reg number? I was thinking it could have had a different reg number over the years.
