C4S Advice

I used to have a 996 C4 about a year ago - so I know the usual horrors to look out for, extended warranty, RMS, front rads corroding at the bottom, expansion tank, etc etc....
Looking at a C4S now - so need a bit of guidance. I have kept a keen eye on their value over the last 12 months and they have seemed to have held at around the 40K mark.
Do you think that they will continue their good run of depreciation, or will they start to nose dive now that 997 are becoming more readily available on the second hand market? The thing is - I prefer the look of the 996 C4S, to the 997, am I alone here or does anyone else agree?
I had my C4 for a year and got my money back when I sold it (I was very lucky - I know!), I totally accept that I will loose money on most cars, but I have managed to very well over the years and want to continue if poss.
What spec is preferable - I'm assuming the following:-
-silver with blue or black leather
-manual
-not more than 40,000 miles
-Porsche Extended Warranty
-switchable sports exhaust (a must!!)
-sat nav (but not essential)
-sports suspension

Have I missed anything out?

I've seen one for sale with a very similar spec for 40K - is this about right?

Cheers
Simon
