C4S How wide is wide?

I will be picking up my 1st Porsche - a 993 C4S next weekend and I am investigating options for garaging. I wondered if anyone out there knows what the maximum width of these wide bodied 993's is?

Hi,

I had the same fear and asked for all the dimensions. You're brave buying before trying!! A kindly owner measured his for me and the results are below. However as I was still worried he actually came to visit me and we tried his C2S in my garage. Please to say it fitted with bags of room and I have a small single garage. Nice people these 993 owners.

4262mm Long
1795mm Wide 1840mm + Mirrors
2590mm From the nose to the end of the door (useful to see if door can open without hitting pillars if you have any)

Good luck and well done finding a C4S. Still not found myself a C2S [:(]

It will fit a typical 30's garage with loads of room but maybe not one of todays kiddicar sized ones - good luck.

Mines a 1988 build so quite snug but fits with lots of room front and back with enough room to get in and out ok so long as you're quite slim.
