C4S Red Strip on a TT

Hi,

One of my favourite things about my C4S was the old school red strip across the back, can that be fitted to a TT? I can/t see why not? Is it a cover over the lower metal section on the boot?

Any examples? I've seen C4S with Turbo spoilers before but not the other way around.
 
The recess below the crease is a different depth on the Turbo, so the strip would stick out too far. So it isn't a simple job, and the strips are close on £500 inc VAT, so that might also be a deciding factor!
