Cab Hard Top Roof Squeeks

Hi

I have a 2002 C4 Cab, for the winter I have fitted the hard top roof.
Practically every time I use the car the most annoying squeeks and creaks eminate from the join with the top of the windscreen. Releasing and then re-engageing the latching lever improves matters.

Does anyone else have a Cab which suffers from this?

How can I cure it?

The OPC in Guildford have looked at it and improved things only for the noise to return.

Reasonably common problem.

You'd be well advised to get hold of technical bulletin 7/01 6102 (I think that's the right reference) entitled "Noises in The Hardtop".
