I have a 2" tear in the roof of my cab and need some advice if anybody has had a similar problem:-

1 Can the roof be repaired or is it a new roof
2 If it can be repaired any suggestions in the Midlands-I live in Rugby
3 Any suggestions ref a new roof again in the Midlands

Hi

I would imagine it would depend on the exact loction of the tear

I had a small, 1", tear repaired on the roof of my previous 3.2 - the result was definitely not invisible, but much cheaper than a new roof, and was watertight

Best people to contact would be Southbound Trimmers (my roof is completely knackered, so is going there next month to be replaced) - they should be able to advise.

The only problem with them, should you want them to do any work, is their six month waiting list.....

Is it down to six months now ? I would mention to Dave Nunn the possibility of taking on more staff, but I think he's a bit of a perfectionist and a bit fussy about who he employs. The downside of that is he cannot keep up with demand - a bit like Morgan used to be really.
