Here we go again.....

I have just fitted a replacement cabrio roof to my 996.
It was bought 2nd hand but a great improvement on the original - it doesn't leak through the rear window joint.

Can anyone tell me where I can get the part of the zip that you slide around to join the 2 sides.
I'm not sure if these should normally be left on or whether they are normally removed as ther eis no stop to prevent them zipping off.
Maybe just a normal zip tihng of an everyday item of clothing would do - ideas welcomed.
