Cabrio plastic rear window

I noticed that the lower left corner of my plastic window was coming away.
During the nice weather I decided to make some enquiries later this week, now it is raining, I feel it has become more urgent - especially as the ole girl lives outside.

The window looks to be in good condition in the area and doesn't look torn or ripped.
My question is, will the window need replacing or is there a repair that is possible - it almost looks like it has become un-glued?

I am looking to replace the roof in the next 12-18months for one with a glass rear window so really dont want to shell out massive amounts of money at this stage.

This leads me to another question, can anyone confirm if I can fit a roof from a later model with a glass rear screen as the ones I see regularly on the internet appear to have a smaller window - I prefer the size already fitted.
I seem to remember seeing something about a later one being fitted if the roof braces were replaced due to a different layout.

Thanks
Dave.

PS. I am in Manchester so if anyone could recommend a place for the window repair (and details of cost if you have had rerapir carried out recently), I would be very greatful

The roof from the facelift model won't fit unless you replace the entire mechanism (not worth it). Due to the way the roof folds (your plastic window bends in the middle), the smaller glass window is the only solution (the bottom of it is about where the fold is).

If you want to put a glass rear window in, you need to get in touch with BAS International (Google) in Wales who do one. This is probably the one you refer to with the smaller rear window. There is also an American company whose name escapes me at the moment. I was considering doing this on my Cabriolet before I was tempted into the "beast".

Just a thought, if you are thinking of replacing the rear window in 12-18 months, factor in an extra 2.5% on the cost due to the VAT rise (an extra £30 or so). I'd just get the roof and glass rear window done now as it will probably cost you at least £50 to get the plastic one re-attached.
