I know about less than nothing when it comes to the cab roof. Except, we had a cab owner at one show that couldn't get the roof to work and it turned out to be a black wire (earth?) around the rear seats. Near where the two bolts that act as a manual failsafe. It had become brittle and disconnected, rather as the headlight wiring does.

Assuming you've checked the relevant fuse...[8|]

let me know the answer when you do find out..... not that I have the same problem (yet) but owning a cab, would be good to store this snippet of info for the future!

There are two black covers in the rear seat area, pop them off and there are two, I think, 19mm bolts that can be used to manually raise the roof. I think, please get confirmation as I've never owned a cab!

you are right paul.
i had the whole side cover off the inside of mine at the weekend, the bolts sit on top of the motor, accessbile through the removed "plug" covers, and allow you wind the roof up and down with the jack handle.
- never actually tried it tho, as mine works....
