Cabrio - wet floor

Ok, doesn't actually apply to me any longer, not since I unblocked my drain holes (that exit in front of the rear wheels).

But, before the summer arrived, I do recall the floor mysteriously getting wet again (despite having cleared the drains)...couldn't figure out why, and hasn't happened since.

However, I noticed something tonight...left the car out of the garage this evening, and it rained, quite a lot. So out I go and park the car in garage, and when I get out I can hear this trickling...took a look underneath and in front of both rear wheel arches there's a steady stream of water...a real stream.

So, what I reckon is this. My drive is on a slight forward slope. My garage floor is obviously flat. Water must build up within the drain system and if there is a sufficient volume of rain water, this drains forward INTO my car while it is on the sloped drive.
Whereas, if the car was on a flat surface (or if the drive sloped the other way) the water would drain out as intended...

Anyone have view on this being factual?
