Cabriolet Hood Controller Location

Hi,

I'm trying to replace the hood controller unit for my '94 RHD Cabriolet with one I bought on EBay - eitheir this will cure the random failures on my hood, or give me a chance to re-solder the existing unit

Unfortunately I cannot seem to locate the Control Unit in the passenger footwell - been under their with a headtorch etc, but cannot see anything that looks like the controller - does anyone have a photograph of the unit in situ or a good description of how to locate it?

Thanks Maurice, I looked in PET also, but it just shows the controller in isolation - at least I know I've got the right part ...

All the internet posts I have read say - "easy, 1hr job" It seems to be in the same place whether your car is LHD or RHD car so obviously should be pretty easy for an RHD car, but I spent an hr hanging upside down, with a headtorch on, trying to find it [:mad:]
