And me, really sorry that support is low but that does mean that space on track will be very good. This track is brilliant, you can really push an RS hard here once you've learned the lines. As usual the time of year (dictared by costs to hire) is a potential issue but the forecast is good so come and have one last go.

I haven't had a reply from Steve but I will just turn up.

What time Ian ?

Sign-on at 8.0 am ?

A great day, very low numbers meant it felt like a private test session, often no other cars on track and as much track time as you could stand.
It was damp to begin with then dried, a further shower late am then pretty much dry all day. Nice to see Chris W in the rapid Cayman R and Robert (formerly 3.2 Clubbie, Rubystone 964RS and lately very nice 997 GT3), thanks for the laps, very impressive.
I particularly enjoyed following Mike in his lovely 2.7RS, full flames from both pipes at the end of each straight

Ian, thanks for the ride....brought back lots of memories, all the right noises in all the right places, great stuff.....don't ever sell it!!!!

Melv,
Yes the straight at Cadwell is that long curved thing that looks about 30 degrees from the exit of Charlies. The other straight on the start finish also curves nicely.... OK melv, see what you mean lol. But joking aside mate, you missed a great day, Ian certainly flew the flag for 964RS; his car sounding delightful withing the amphitheatre of the Lincolnshire hills. Although the two GT3s barked like an angry bear on steroids. As for Chris W in his Cayman R, I have never taken Hall bends at anything like that speed since I was in single seaters, as for his ceramic brakes, the last time I stopped that quick, I was using another car as a crumple zone.

Ian, how were the brakes this time?

Hi steve

Sorry mate, not had time to give you or the forum the low-down on the brakes. BUT, removed the Pagid Blues, approx 40% worn only but looking worse for wear, cleaned discs with proprietry sprays, fitted new pads (Brembo HP fast road/occasional track) and problem has gone! No 'warped disc' sensation, no fade but there is a tremor from the steering if braking with any lock on but only slight and bearing no resemblence to previous problem. This is likely to be something like a developing problem with a worn wishbone bush?

Car will receive a major service this winter so the problem can be investigated further. Is there a compatability or use specific issue with Pagid blues as I am not the only one to have had a similar experience?

Ian
