I'm going to head to Caldwell Park for their track day on 19 Feb. That'll be my first experience on the track in a 911 so I'm looking forwards to how that goes. Does anyone else happen to be going along ?

I was also looking for some in-car track video but other than some video shot out the back of a mini for part of a lap I did not manage to find any. Does anyone have a link to any vieo of laps at Caldwell?

plenty on youtube, just put cadwell park in and you should get loads to look at[:D] been round there a few times, you should have a good day, as long as the weather behaves itself[8|]

Wayne - I wish I could have made it but a bit tied up. I have done a few track days at Cadwell & found it challenging. How did you get on? Are we likely to see you both at the husky race? regards Richard & Pam

It was a very interesting day with everything starting out totally covered in snow, The track was cleared by about 1130 but was ok on the bitumen but pretty treacherous if you got a wheel off. Unfortunately in session 2 I came to grief carrying too much speed into the hall bends and a lift had me skating over the snow and into a tire wall backwards. I'm up for a new rear bumper and tail light but was able to continue the day. It's a complex track so there is still plenty to work on that's for sure. I'll probably head back on 15 March but only of it's not snowing!

sorry to hear[:(]when i got up in the morn and saw what the weather was like, thought about what you would have to contend with over the day, cadwell is a very funny place, lots of little differences in the track that if you get wrong put you in a world of hurt, its no wonder they call it the minny nurburgring, i was going to come down and watch, but did not fancy the cold weather, i hope the 15th will be a bit better weather wise for you, but the way we are heading feel we wont see any nice dry tarmac until may!
