Caliper refurb

I've got a split rubber boot on the n/s/f caliper piston, which is going to need replacing (obviously!). I'm sure that I've read somewhere that disassembling the 'caliper' into it's component parts is a bad idea but I can't see how to remove/install the boot without doing so.

I don't know if that makes my situation clear but I can post some pictures if necessary.

If it's just one split, clean up the area and use superglue to repair it. It'll be as good as new. [;)] Regards, Clive.
 
If yours is the single piston type, I assume it would be similar to replacing the 4 pots - I popped out the piston with a plastic "screwdriver", pulled the seal and replaced, it just pushed in.
