Good evening all,
I have had a good look around on forum for posts and articles on brakes, I have noted some excellant stuff on brake pads/rotor removals and brake bleeding, but having found all this good stuff I still need to seek some advice.
I wish to remove my capilers (going for repainting) and have a question on the best way to remove the brake line. I see the brake line support (i.e item 8,MG6/SG04/604/10 in the IPC) is best removed so to allow the caliper to be moved, and it looks like a 10/11 mm spanner is need to remove the support.
So the question is what pitfalls should I be aware of when disconnecting the brake line (i.e item 7,MG6/SG04/604-10 in the IPC) and the caliper.
Regards
