Hi all, I know this is a long shot but............ my 1999 996 C2 has bright red brake calipers and I want to go back to original factory black, does anyone want to swap a set of black ones for red ones? or does anyone have any calipers around I could purchase to refurbish, I dont really want to take my car off the road for too long to get my set stripped and redone, seems a waste. Or any other ideas!!!

I should have added that if you can get a discounted price for two cars I will have mine refurbed and painted as well.
Same as yours but black.
Gerry

Hi Gerry, my local indy has recommended a company in London who specialise in Brembro callipers and they properly powder coat rather than wet paint, but they do not have any multiple or trade discounts their price is what it is!

Hi Rob,
Sounds good.
Do you know what they quote for a full set?
I'd like to drive the car up there and leave it.
My car is at Lepson's having the wheels done at the moment.
Regards
Gerry

Hi Gerry sorry for delay, man flu! looks like £205 plus vat per pair, but this is a full refurb and paint, not just paint, I suppose while there off it may as well be done properly. Im probably going to wait until the weather warms up, but still will get them done before silverstone classic

For £205 a pair you wont get a full refurb of seals and pistons, you're looking at about £1K per car for a proper job
