Calling all cars - Saturday 23rd April

We have visitors from Region 18 Lancashire & Cumbria to our area for the weekend - part of their itinerary is a visit to Eden Camp, Specialist Cars Malton and then a run over the North York Moors (route to be decided) with a lunch stop.

Lets have a show of cars to join our friends at Specialist Cars, Malton at 11 a.m. for a short meeting as I understand the garage is extremely busy with buyers collections. The route decided will be given to participants - if anyone has any interesting suggestions please give your comments.

Hi John,

I'd like to come along to specialist cars tomorrow. Malton is only a stone's throw away from me. I've not met anyone as yet, so would appreciate any yorkshire members coming and introducing themselves. I'll be driving a Red 964 Carrera 2 with my navigator son in the passenger seat.

Is the time still 11am?

Thought I might come along from the Lincs Region to give my new 987S a decent run; would that be okay?[:D]
 
I have someone coming round to collect something tomorrow. IF the times work out I will try & pop over, especially if the weather is like today [:D]

As far as I know the time is 11 a.m. and as there are only 3 cars from the Lancs region for the weekend I am sure everyone will be welcome.

A lunch stop is planned - Mac knows the north york moors fairly well and has one or two routes in mind with a wide of choice of pubs.

I forgot he is fancying driving through Dalby Forest on some part of the run - always a good run particularly if the weather is a good as today.

Hi James

After meeting at Malton, they will visit Eden Camp and then drive north (route not yet arranged)
a stop at The Horseshoe at Egton Bridge for lunch break, then to Whitby Abbey for a break, back over towards Thornton Dale, join Dalby Forest run back to the Hackness Grange Hotel where they are staying.
