Calling all Speedster Owners"¦
The Dorset Region will have a class dedicated to the Speedster at its concour this year"¦
Next Sunday, 24th June, 2007, at Sherborne New Castle.
Given a dedicated class, and the fact that many of the usual concour devotees will be at Goodwood Festival of Speed, this represents an opportunity for some different faces to do well in the concour. The class will be judged by usual PCGB rules.
But we do need at least three in the class to justify it!
Entrance is £5 per car, for as many people as you can squeeze in, and includes access to the grounds of Sherborne castle (landscaped by Capability Brown, and a wonderful backdrop for our concour). We have also negotiated discounted rates for entry into the house. The usual catering facilities are available, so it will be a great day out for the whole family.
If those that are coming along could post on here, or let one of the Dorset committee know we will ensure you have pride of place. Obviously any-one else is welcome to the visitor's class.
Gates open 10.30am; entrants to the concour must be in place by mid-day.
Please pass this on to any other registers or regions you feel it may be appropriate to, and we look forward to seeing you there.
Regards,
Tref.
