Gordon,

sorry, forgot the name of the website you said you got the camera mount from...can you remember it?

Thanks,

Greig..

Hi Greig, sorry to butt in but (in the interests of helping a fellow Celt) I got a fantastic camera mount system from Hagues who do all the TV stuff, great glass mount as well as shelf brackets etc for plenty of different angles. Their website is here. Cheers, John G

hagues.....that's the one....thanks John. Gordon, consider yourself now officially useless[:D]

Ok, consider yourself useful again....there were 2 options, I got the slightly more expensive one as the cheaper one specifically warned it wasn't any good for the inside of windscreens....does that sound about correct? It is called "Camcorder Suction Mount" as opposed to the "Camcorder Suction Pad", and was the most expensive one with the single suction pad.

Yes, was £80 including delivery. Says it only supports up to 1.5Kg - but my camera weighs less so should be fine....I couldn't see another one for 3kg.

I stuck it to the wife's ford last night as a "test" - couldn't get the bloody thing off for about 20 mins...and then when I did I seemed to remove her rear view mirror as well - so seems strong enough![:D]
