camshaft refurbishment

Hi All
I have tried to search but come up with no results.

I have been doing some maintenence on my 944 cab looking at the camshafts sprockets are starting to look warn just wondering anyone has had the sprockets reconditioned? Being that the shafts are about £500 each it would nake sense to be able to refurbish them before the teet come off. What do you think?
