can any one transfer video to DVD??

I have a 356 Video I wish to transfer to DVD and a few others can any one do it or tell me 100% what I need to buy inorder to do it.

If you're nowhere near Mark (probably generally good if you aren't [:)]) and it's a 'one off' look in yellow pages for a local company that can provide that service. I recently had a video transfered for £20.00 which is prohibitive if you have loads to copy but ok for a single hit.
 
Mark top stuff I might well ask if you can on this one. I was also looking into doing it myself as then I have the gear to do any future stuff. I have video's from ages ago when I had a Cam corder god I must have looked a prat with that on my sholder... [:D] the 80's big hair big box on your shoulder...
