Hi I have only had my 1999...2.7 Boxster for a week but cannot get fuel into the tank...blows back the whole time and takes ages to fill?...Assumed a venting problem but cannot see well enough with Inner arch plastic pulled back to see what to check...is this a normal problem or is something not working?

Any advice appreciated.

Not sure whether this will help but I have found that it does air lock if the pump nozzle is placed at 6 o'clock position in the filler. It works very well with no problems if held at say 7 to 8 o'clock position.

Thanks for that...we live in Spain and it is 7.22pm...is this a good time to get fuel?

I will try a different angle..in Spain most of the Fuel Stations are served so it is a bit tricky to find one which is not in order to experiment...but will give it a go..thanks for your help..
