Today I’ve managed to damage a rear wheel on my Boxster. I blame the kerb for jumping out, but clearly it’s my fault. Has anyone had recent experience of a local wheel repair shop. Otherwise it’s a trip to Porsche Cambridge. Thank you.

Sounds as if you are a fair distance away but of interest Wheel Clinic in Northampton know what they are doing. John A.

John at Exel wheels do a good job and do supply a set of wheels but more expensive

Plant wheels are as good if not better than factory finish and found to be resonable.

Michael - ‘Mint Alloys’ in Silsoe, Beds, refurbished all my 993 hollow spokes earlier this year, good price and very good detail work. They are very close to Porsche independent I use on the same site in Wrest Park... worth investigating?

Hi Neil

i did get the repair.

concerned the get the wheel right I eventually chose to take in to Porsche Towcester

however it took them two attempts

the wheel is now perfect

would recommend them and not too expensive.

thank you for asking
