Ok, the right hand fan comes on VERY powerfull and I mean turbo charged on my 997s.
I can hear it very far away and the heat and noice is loud!
the left fan comes on also but just normal.

Porsche say there is something wrong...
A well known Porsche specialist says the right fan will come on VERY loud and the left hand fan comes on first on low and the right comes on high and nothing is wrong.
Someone said it could be the sensors playing up yet both fans do come on, so its not like one is off and one is on.
Any ideas?
Is this Porsche just trying to cash in or is there a real issue?
I have to admit its very loud and noone has seen or looked at the car, all advice has been over the phone.

One may be cooling and the other air conditioning, both condensors are down there...
Mine certainly gets itself wound up on a summers day...
I've never really been able to tell the left from the right(nor took that much noticed- sorry)

Now you say this Gary, my air con does not work, thought about getting it re-gassed at a place near mine.. you rekon thats the reason?
its not ice cold and not worth putting it on when its warm

I'm not sure if the system would sense if there was gas failure of the sort, but certainly could be the system trying to maintain the temp and unable to..
Visit to the local air-con centre if not the OPC....

yes thanks, will do,
I want to get this sorted anyways and will be interesting to see if it fixes this fan issue, but even if it does not it needs to be done,
