Has anyone in the Essex area bought a replacement stereo for their car and can recommend the place they bought it from for the fitting.
I've had battery problems and have not got code to unlock mine. Porsche Colchester were kind enough to give me the original code but the unit must have been changed as it didn't work.
I've posted the serial number on another forum and been given codes to try but they didn't work either.
I've never thought the stereo was all that good anyway so rather than pay becker for a code, I would rather put the money towards a new unit.
I want to use someone that understands Porsche security so I don't have alarm problems afterwards and also get some decent speakers fitted in the doors.
The car it is going in is a 2001 Boxster S, old stereo unit is a cr22 with 6 cd changer.
I'm also interested to hear what you bought too...
I'm an old timer who's after quality sound rather than a boom boom rolling bass speaker
